Meet Dr. Waltz

Dr. Waltz was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa attending the University of Iowa for both his undergraduate and dental degrees, Go Hawkeyes! He received his doctorate of dental surgery from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2014 graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Immediately after obtaining his dental degree,  Dr. Waltz continued at the University of Iowa earning his Certificate in Endodontics in 2016. From 2016 to 2024 he practiced as an endodontist in a private practice in Tampa, Florida. He has achieved Diplomate Status with the American Association of Endodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association. 

In his spare time, Dr. Waltz enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Kelsey share a son, Carson. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Waltz enjoys exercising, traveling and is an avid auto enthusiast. He is now happy to call East Tennessee home!
